Configure clients that support a custom OpenAI-compatible Chat Completions provider.
Before you start
- Create an application key and keep it in an environment variable.
- Choose an enabled model with the context, streaming, and tool support the client needs.
- Select the client's Chat Completions mode and provide a custom base URL.

Model: YOUR_APPROVED_MODEL_IDThese are connection values, not a claim that every release or feature of these clients has been certified. Follow the client's current configuration instructions. Modes that require Responses or Anthropic Messages are not supported.
Test a small task
Use a separate profile or reversible configuration change. Make one small request before switching an active workflow. Enable tool execution only after verifying model support and reviewing the client's permissions.
