Data controls
The application retains usage and financial metadata. Prompts and model responses are not stored in its application database.
What is stored
| Data | Application handling |
|---|---|
| Prompts and responses | Forwarded for inference; not retained in application storage. |
| Usage metadata | Request/model/key identifiers, tokens, charge, duration, outcome and timestamps. |
| Financial records | Deposits, holds, settlements, adjustments and retained ledger references. |
| Credentials | Server-side secrets; customer API keys are authenticated by their hashes. |
Activity analytics use the configured metadata-retention window. Ledger statements retain the financial history needed to explain balances.
Upstream processing
Cloudflare and the inference provider process requests. The provider's own retention and processing policies apply, and the provider may archive content. Application-level content-free storage is not a promise of upstream zero retention.
Exports
Usage and statement exports contain metadata and accounting values, not conversation content. Keep exports in an appropriate location if they reveal your application's activity.
